In honor of Ted

I think as long as we're making progress, it's an honor to serve.
- Senator Ted Kennedy in an interview with Charlie Rose, February 2005

I was watching something on CNN last night, and it was mentioned that in the heartbreaking history of the Kennedy family Senator Kennedy's life, was at least blessed with time.

I'm in my twenties - I'm not old enough to know the Kennedy family the way some of my older generations do, but I'm so saddened by this death. However, at the same time - what an incredible life.

So many of his foes embrace him, because they know he made them bigger.
- President Joe Biden, speaking of Senator Ted Kennedy, August 26, 2009

To the Kennedy family - who have suffered more heartaches than one family should ever bear, my thoughts and prayers are with you. (To share your thoughts of his life, click here).

What about you dear readers? Any of you affected more than you expected to be?

The Kennedy family has such a sad and interesting past. I have always been fascinated by the Kennedys. Have you read the book, "What Remains"? If not, you should check it out. I read it a long time ago so the details are foggy, but I think the author was best friends w/ Caroline Kennedy.
