(Yes, I'm 26 and I call my mom for cooking questions. I'm not a baker and I'm okay with that).
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil (I substituted applesauce for this)
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Combine pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, and egg.
In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Dissolve the baking soda with the milk and stir in. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix well.
Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.
Happy baking!

Yum, I love all things pumpkin! I'll have to try this.
And don't worry, I still call my mom all the time with cooking questions.
Hey Becky! You won not one but TWO of the giveaways on my blog. Check it out here.
Yum!!! Those look like fall cookie perfection! If I try to make them, I am sure that I will have to call my grandma at least once to ask a question!
they look delightful! now to find pumpkin in japan... :) thanks for sharing!
so you'll be bringing some to staff call, right?
I totally understand. I still call my mom about all kinds of stuff when it comes to baking and cooking. Most of the time they are really simple questions that I feel like I should know the answer to. I'm an adult now... I should know this!
Also: I saved the recipe to my recipes to try! You had me at "pumpkin"!
