So today, instead of stopping to smell the roses, I am stopping to smell the books. Ahhh.
Frederick Douglass said, "Once you learn to read you will be forever free." I couldn't agree more. I've been trying to make more time for myself lately - and part of that is taking more time to read. And with that, a little reading update.
I am proud to say that since my last Busy Bookworm Challenge update I have finished four books!

I think we are two peas in a pod when it comes to reading (and other things, of course!). I absolutely adore reading! I have always been a bookworm! I can remember devouring Babysitter Book Club books when I was a kid and I still read with the same passion & excitement as an adult!
I am working on Pride & Prejudice - have about 100 pages left. After that I am going to read "Traveling w/ Pomegranates" and then a book I won quite awhile ago from a book giveaway that Amber hosted.
Happy Reading!!

Water for Elephants is a very endearing quick read which would be great for the plane ride. Love in the Time of Cholera is in my top three favorite books of all time and it has been in that position long before they made a crappy movie out of it. *No, I couldn't list the other two in my top three. "Top three" is more of a phrase to express my passion and love for something than an actual list*
I love reading! I am going to visit my mom this weekend and one of the best things about a 6 hour plane ride is all the free reading time!! (well, technically not free, I payed about $500 dollars for that reading time, but you know what I mean!)
I adore reading. I don't do enough of it while I'm in school but I can't wait to be DONE school and start reading way more!!
you make me smile.
and i love to read too. i wish i could read more, and do other, less interesting things that shall remain unsaid less.
:)
