Almost back!

Surprise! I'm still overseas, but I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Friday! First off, thanks to Holly, Amber, Nicole, and Lisa - you ladies were incredible guest bloggers and I really appreciate it!

I originally wrote this in advance but I had a chance to jump online so I thought I would tell you a few things about Kosovo.

The bread is delicious. Seriously, think of the best bread you've ever tasted in your life. Now double that. Yeah.

Everyone and their brother smokes like a chimney. Between the smoke, the smell of burning trash, and the mines it's no wonder people here have respitory problems. I have to make sure to scrub all the smoke smell off of me every night and I'm going to have to do some serious dry cleaning of the clothes when I get back. The shower in itself is also an adventure but I'll wait 'till I'm back to tell you about that!

The history here is amazing. I love American history so much I forget how "young" of a country we are compared to places like Kosovo. We saw buildings that have been around since the 16th century!

I have to run for now. Tell me about your week, friends! Was it awesome, frustrating, or kind of in between? Have any of you started (or finished) decorating for the holidays? I'll be back tomorrow and I can't wait to read all your comments! Oh trust me, I have stories from the airplane too.

Okay, okay...just because I love you I'll leave you with something hilarious. One of the ladies in our group had us cracking up at breakfast the other day because she said the people in the room next to her sounded like they were on their honeymoon. I believe her exact words were, "the girl didn't hold ANYTHING back!" She was joking about it with the clerk at the front desk later and apparantly the couple didn't even stay the whole night! Nice to know the place we're staying is also available by the hour!

Happy Friday!!!

Disclaimer: Please excuse any weird spellings, the computer I'm on has a really weird keyboard and everything is in a different place!

Have a safe trip home! My week has been so-so. I am very happy it's Friday! Tomorrow night I am babysitting for 2 of my nephews. They are 4 yrs old & 18 months so it should be a fun night!

Can't wait to hear all about your trip!!

Mmm... I'm hungry for bread now. Although if everyone smokes, I don't think my lungs could handle going there.

This week for me has just been getting through each day. The semester is winding down, so of course my work load is increasing. ;P

Have a safe trip home!

Dude...I have to tell you about this temp job I got for this week! Nicest company EVER. I got free breakfast one morning (the landlord had it set up for the whole building) and not just cereal but waffles, bacon and cheesey eggs!

THEN tonight I get to go to their Christmas dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse...wtf. It's very exciting.

I am happy you will be back soon!!! :)

Sounds like you're having a pretty good time. When I was in Germany EVERYONE smoked too. I hated it!

Safe travels back! XO
