Mid-week musings

Does anyone else feel like this week is weird? The days at work have been slow/fast, slow/fast, and then the evenings are flying by!  Because of this I feel like I'm all over the place so I have no explanations for the weird-ness of this post.

I think I could sit on that bench forever

*I want to like tea. I really, really, do. However, I have yet to come across a type of tea I enjoy. I've had it made for me at least 20 different ways and without fail I never like it enough to take more than a few obligatory sips. I've had flavored tea, black tea, breakfast tea, tea with biscuits, tea with milk, tea with sugar, tea with milk and sugar, you name it, I've probably had it. I think drinking tea is so sophisticated - I don't know why, I just do. Alas, I don't think it's meant to be. Any suggestions from tea drinkers?

*I need to do more my life in pictures to answer some questions. Luckily the mister just went to the store so if I take a picture of my fridge (as requested!) it won't be empty. (Maybe that'll be a goal for this weekend).

*Happy St. Patrick's Day! I tell people I'm Irish and they believe me (because I'm freakishly pale and have red hair), but I'm not even one ounce Irish. That kind of makes me sad.

*I have no polish on my fingers or toes right now and it's been this way for almost a week. This is the longest I've gone without doing my nails in the past six months. I feel weird.

*Last night I went to a yoga class after work and the final relaxation was awesome. She told us to lay on the floor and the next thing I knew she was then saying roll over to your right side and come to a seated position. I was out. I can't remember my (brief) dreams, but I do remember they were weird. Does that happen to anyone else?

That's all I've got for now readers. How are you doing? Please share any thoughts going through your head - nothing is too random! Happy hump day!

My tea suggestion: You just might not like black tea. Red or white would probably be better then. Next time you go to Tysons Corner Ctr or Fair Oaks Mall, hit the Teavana shop. Tell them what you've said about the teas you've tried and they probably will have a sample on the floor with white or fruit tea. They're amazing. www.teavana.com

I don't really like tea either... and I also wish I did! I haven't tried as many flavors as you have, though! It does help for me to add milk and sugar to certain kinds.

My week is flying by. The days go by way too fast. I can't get nearly enough done during the day and then my evenings feel like they are non-existant!

hey girl, I enjoyed reading your random musings! so far my week is seemingly flying by. What happened in your yoga class sounds cool actually. You must have been in a really relaxed state of mind. I hope you have a good St. Patrick's Day. I definitely would have thought you'd be irish too!

Hmmm I've become a major tea drinker lately, my favourites are green tea with honey and vanilla earl grey!

Try a chai tea latte from starbucks! It's SO GOOD. Has a really nice sweet taste to it!

Have you tried Lady Grey? It has a lovely light citrus aroma that's not overpowering. I usually serve it to my non-tea drinking friends because it's so mild.

I agree with Amber, try a chai tea! So good. Have you tried Tazo tea? I am obsessed.

Oh and I think you should paint your toes! I know the funk and it feels so good when you get a fresh coat of paint on em!

Happy Saint Patty's Day love!

Can I live on your Goodreads site forever?

Best,

Hannah Katy

I feel like it is en vogue to like tea. And I don't like it! So if you never find one that you like you can come have a cup of coffee with me!

I know what you mean about tea... much as I try to enjoy it, I always end up feeling like its just fake coffee!

I always crash at the end of a yoga session, too. And then I'm suddenly wired for hours afterwards!

I hate tea. Coffee rocks.

And I love the random streams of consciousness post. I feel like I'm rubbing off on you. HAHA!

I agree with Dani! I LOVE Teavana...I actually have a couple teas from them right now if you want to try one. One is the the rooibos which is the red tea she suggested. ALSO Wegman's ALWAYS has tea samples out so that's a free way to try some other kinds too.

It's also really important to use boiling water too. I feel like I've told you all this before :)
