Gingers have no souls!

That was just one of the many phrases yelled by someone at the D.C. United game I attended with my sister Saturday night. (The guy who yelled it had some rage toward the other team).

We had a-ma-zing seats (five rows from the field), and it was quite the evening! Starting with the crazy guy on the metro talking about how you have to live and die in Maryland not D.C., to my sister telling me to calm down when I was screaming at the referee about bad calls (there may have been some choice words thrown in for good measure), to the escalator stopping while we were on it coming home in the metro station.
My cheeks spelled D.C. - you just can't see the other side in this picture. Someone whispered "hardcore," as we passed them going into the stadium.

Add a great book club meeting, and welcoming a friend's beautiful son into the world, it was quite a delightful weekend!

How was yours?

Sounds like a fabulous weekend! I had no idea you were a sports fan! :)

My weekend was wonderful. the weather was perfect in Tucson! It was so good seeing my sister & her husband and spending time with my parents. They got a killer rate at an awesome resort since it's the off season down there. Their room was seriously significantly larger than my condo!!

Oh how I miss the interesting people on the DC metro. Once when a friend and I were in high school there was this guy telling us all we were on a train to hell and it was going to crash, burn, and kill us all. Scary stuff when you're 16.

Your weekend sounds like a lot of fun. I went to a concert with my brother and friends, hung out with them on Saturday and read outside most of the day Sunday.
