Life is a roller coaster

The mister has a job!
An honest-to-goodness-not-seasonal-perfect-position-for-him job! He had an interview Thursday which was a big waste of his time. (Maybe one of the triggers to my mini-meltdown?) He had a second interview Friday but ended up not going to it because we know the job wasn't a good fit for him.

Timing is a funny thing, because when he was home (during the time he would have been at the interview) he found a job listing for a position at an art gallery. He applied, three hours later got a phone call, and had an interview Saturday morning. He met with the owner for over an hour and while she said she had more interviews to do, he got a phone call yesterday afternoon being offered the position!

I'm so so so so so so excited! He's an artist and he'll be working at an art gallery. He has framing experience and he'll be framing pieces people buy there or bring in. He'll even be responsible for helping with art shows they host. Seriously. I'm relieved but more importantly, so happy for him! He works so hard and I'm happy he'll finally be doing something in an environment he loves!

So thanks readers. For your well wishes, your happy thoughts, and your encouraging comments. I appreciate all of them.

Oh! And I now officially have a Twitter account. I've been debating it for awhile but finally bit the bullet. I'd love it if you followed me, but know that I'm doing this with baby steps. (So if I don't follow you back for awhile it's not you, it's just that I don't know how to do anything and I'm still learning!)

Happy happy Wednesday friends! What's something that's made you happy lately?
