Quite possibly the best and worst slogan ever

On our recent trip to Chicago, the mister found a new love. It comes in the form of paper and holds treasures no one could imagine. It's name? Sky Mall magazine.

Let me back up for a minute and preface this story by saying my husband can sit and watch infomercials for hours. So really, he's Sky Mall's ideal audience.
I slept on both flights but the mister's kind of nervous when we fly so he started reading away. On the way to Chicago he kept elbowing me (waking me up!) so he could show me stuff. But it was on the way home where we struck gold.

Ben started giggling and leaned over to show me what he was looking at. At first glance, it looks like a regular blue tooth headset. But it doubles as a hearing aid. And their slogan is...wait for it...

"So you can improve your hearing and your image!"

Oh.My.Gosh. I couldn't stop laughing for about three minutes. I'm not sure what's funnier - that someone came up with this slogan, or that after reading this slogan, people buy the product. Ohh Sky Mall. I read somewhere you can actually create a wedding registry there. If that's true I'm glad we got married when we did, otherwise our house would be full of head spa massagers and pet crate end tables!

Any of you fans of Sky Mall? Do you find it as entertaining as the mister and I do? Have you bought anything from there?

Enjoy the long weekend if you have one!

Ha! That blue tooth thing is awesome! I never look through the Sky Mall magazine ever! I will usually flip through the magazine provided by the airline to see if they feature any cool cities, but I just never look at the Sky Mall magazine. Mostly because I bring plenty of reading material and/or a knitting project.

Have a wonderful long weekend!

Haha, I have seen that magazine and it entertained me quite a while. I find it hilarious that people create wedding registries there. Have a great long weekend!

That's super funny!! I have never bought anything from Sky Mall, and I am SO excited about travelling next month for the first time with a laptop so I don't even have to THINK about in flight magazines!! :)

I love Sky Mall magazine. It's usually one I've my favorite things about the flight. There are just such random products in there. And oh my gosh I need them right now! I've never bought anything, but it's great getting a laugh out of it.

I am on the fence about this. I love Sky Mall because they have so many unique things that you don't find at the mall or in Walmart. And after the 23rd Christmas present for Mom, I need new, creative ideas. But 40% of the magazine is worth a fantastic LOL and a nudge to your neighbor.

There were definitely some pretty hilarious publications on the planes we took around Europe! Eric wanted to buy a watch from one but I x-nayed that idea! Haha

I love sky mall magazine! One of my favorite ways of killing time on the plane. Oh, and I worked for a family as a nanny that totally had the dog crate end tables and the fancy room dividers....ridiculous.
