Answers from the mister (Part I)

Hi readers! Today I'm turning the blog over to my fabulous husband who is answering some questions you all asked him! There were a lot of similar questions so if a version was asked more than once we grouped them together. Hope you enjoy!
This is a favorite picture of Ben's - it is here by his request!

Lisa, Mandy, Diane, and S.I.F. all asked, When did you know Becky was the girl you were going to marry, and when did you know you loved her?
This was actually at the same time. Three weeks after we started dating again (back in 2004), I was on my way home from dropping her off from a date. I looked over to the passenger side seat and felt very weird looking at the seat. I called my best friend Mike, told him how I felt, and he said "holy sh*t you're in love!" When one of your friends can say that (and not joke), it's normally pretty true.

Lisa asked, How did you propose?
On the back cover of every Mad Magazine there was a crazy image that didn't make any sense. If you folded a third of the page from the right and the left (and met them in the middle), it gave you a secret message. That's what I did for Becky. I drew a picture of us kissing that when it was folded in on itself (like an accordion) the picture spelled out "will you marry me?"

Amber asked, What is your favorite activity to do with Becky and why?
Probably poking her in the ribs to get her to stop biting me. When we're wrestling and she thinks she can take me and attacks (with her teeth - that's her line of defense, she's a biter), I have to show her she's wrong. It cracks me up.

Stevie asked, What is your favorite thing about Becky?
She's fun and understanding and she always lets me finish her juice. Honestly I don't have one favorite "thing" about her - I like all of the things!

Nora asked, What are your thoughts on Becky meeting her blog friends in real life?
I'm all about it, as long as we both keep our livers intact. I was kind of worried about meeting Jess and her husband because they live out in the middle of nowhere - there were too many places to hide dead bodies. I also met Mandy who lives in a "small town," AKA great for body dumping. However, so far so good. :)

Nora and Mandy asked, Would you ever start a blog?
Good question, I'm actually working on putting a blog of my own into action very soon. I'm nervous about starting my own blog because it can be overwhelming when you think about all the possibilities that can come from it. Wait with breathless anticipation for the next week or so.

Aly asked, Do you read any blogs? If yes, who are your top five? If no, WHY NOT?
I don't read any blogs, I just use my google reader via RSS for quick snippet updates and such. I didn't get blogging before Becky started hers. I've seen that blogging is really about people caring about why you post because it resonates with them on a personal level - whether it's a tip, breaking brand new information, an answer to an age-old question, etc. It's definitely got me thinking.

That's all for now. What do you think readers? (Ben was cracking me up while he was answering these because of how he phrases things - I'm a lot wordier than he is!) Part two will be coming next week.  Happy Tuesday!

I adore Ben. And that proposal? Le swoon. You two are so great together.

Best proposal ever.

You guys wrestle? Is that wrestle, or "wrestle"? Just sayin.

And yeah. We do live in the middle of nowhere. It can be a little "deliverance" out this way...hope we passed the test of non-body-burying types.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Omg, I am laughing SO HARD about the fact that Mandy is from a "small town" and it's great for body dumping. Fits of laughter happening over here. LOL.
