Chicago: airport style

Okay so the pictures I have of us from Chicago in the airport are pathetically few. When we arrived we were trying to get to the train to meet my cousin (who played tour guide for us during the day), and when we were leaving we were tired exhausted. But how could I pass up an opportunity to pose with the Blues Brothers?
You can really see the exhaustion in our faces here - before we boarded the plane to come home.
I promise to have a few wedding ones up next week - until then, let's talk high/lows from this week!

My low was yesterday. It was just kind of a blah day which started with me getting ridiculously soaked from a storm on the way into work (even though I had a huge umbrella!) and never really got any better. I have not been getting a lot of sleep this week and I'm determined to change that immediately.

My highs were buying my domain and being able to access the pictures from our Chicago trip! Plus my cousin and her husband (who I like to call my cousin-in-law) are coming into town this weekend. We're going to have so much fun - we haven't seen them in almost a year!

What about you readers? Do you take lame airport pictures like me? What are your highs and lows from this week? Any fun weekend plans? Happy Friday the 13th!

The Chicago airport is so cool! When was there last year we walked in and immediately saw dinosaurs. I was already won over at that point :)

I am always alone in the airport so I have zero airport pictures, with the exception of photos that were taken the day I left to study abroad in Australia. And those are not happy pictures because my mom and I both were crying! I of course was thrilled to be going to Australia but had a tough time saying good bye to my parents for 5 months...

High for the week: Making plans to see E. tonight - I didn't think we'd see each other since he has a friend visiting this weekend but we are meeting up at a bar close to my parents lake cabin. :)

Low for the week: Giving into feelings of insecurity and letting myself question things w/ E...

I hope you have a fantabulous weekend with your cousin and cousin in law! I'm so excited for you, buying a domain name is a big step. =)

My low this week: giving in to worry and stress about the job situtaion.

High of the week: Having so many amazing friends (you included!) whom I can count on at any turn and seeing Wicked tomorrow!

I love that the husband made an appearance in a photo =) He's a cutie! ;-)

Low: I'm not sleeping well AT ALL.
High: Uh... I saw a play last night and it was fun. Does that count!?

I didn't get caught in the storm yesterday morning, but I did on the way home!

Low for the week: Just worrying about stupid stuff I shouldn't worry about.

High for the week: Learning to trust that a higher power will do the worrying for me...and
No work today or next Friday! Flexible scheduling next two weeks!

My low: being utterly exhausted from all the running.

My high: despite being utterly exhausted. I had three FABULOUS runs this week and I love that. The kind of runs where I really LOVE running and feel great afterwards. I hope I get 4 for 4 with my long run this weekend :)

Happy Friday, love! XO

We always take lame airport pictures! Like when we were leaving 2 weeks ago and had laptop set up in the airport, Star Trek going on the screen and the departure screen in the background showing just how proper nerds pass the two hours before boarding :)
