Ahhhh

Have you ever gotten this feeling from a book?  (For me it was The Great Gatsby, Love Walked In, and Belong to Me).

Happy almost Friday!

Yes! For me it's The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky OR Echo by Francesca Lia Block. In fact, I used to carry Echo around with me all the time in high school.

Ohhh! And the Catcher in the Rye. :D

Ooo, love that! I would pick Without Reservations, American Wife, and also Love Walked In. :)

Happy almost Friday!!

Oh definitely! I get this all the time, but the most notable times were Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth", the Time Traveller's Wife, and anything by Mervyn Peake.

Totally love that feeling! I agree about Love Walked In and Belong To Me they were fantastic. I also adored The Help. So many amazing books out there and not ever enough time to read them all.

I need to read love walked in & belong to me! I hear great things about them.

The Sun Also Rises is definitely one of those books I've wanted to carry around with me. Loved that book. Oh, and The Help for sure! I didn't want that book to end.

Apparently I have to read 'Love Walked In' as you and Lisa are both raving about it!!

I felt that way about Outlander, American Wife and, now, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (which I am just finishing up). All SO GOOD I did not want them to end at all!

I have felt that way so many times. Can I be a total girl and say I was sad when the Shopaholic series ended? I felt like I just lost a best friend!!

I read Never Let Me Go a few years ago and it had quite an impact on me. Earlier this year I read Little Bee and when I read the last word, I just sat there for several minutes before I closed the book, then sat for a few more minutes with it in my lap, taking it all in.

There are others that have had a similar impact, but I can't think of them right now :-/

Oh, The Road by Cormac McCarthy is one of them :-)

I would agree with the last two and add The Guernsey Literary Society.

Amber, what is Outlander about and who is it by?

I also felt that way about Outlander/Cross Stitch. Darcie, they're by Diana Gabaldon and are one of the BEST series out there. I totally recommend them!

I'm a bit like that with 'The Historian' and all my lovely Harry Potter books.
