My latest obsessions: fall edition

Remember when I didn't like tea? How silly. Similar to finding the right pair of shoes, I just needed to try a few out to see what I did and did not like. I attribute this all to my friend A. She's always saying "I have a tea I want you to try," or "I think I found something you might like!" She's helped me eliminate white teas (not really a fan), and I'm not sure who was more excited (her or me) when I found a red tea I enjoyed.

However. She recently introduced me to I will from now on refer to as "fall in a cup." Meet my latest obsession.
Hello lover!
I'm sad I can't incorporate scents into my blog because opening these tins is like walking outside on a fresh autumn day. And the taste? Pure bliss. The past couple of days have been loong ones at work and I came back to my desk yesterday evening and found these tins waiting for me - a birthday present from A. It instantly lifted my mood!

And what's fall without a little OPI? I've always liked the color Lincoln Park After Dark (a deep purple). I've had it on my nails since Saturday and I can't stop admiring how pretty it is! (It comes out darker in this picture, so in order to get the full effect go here).
And last but not least, my favorite pair of flats. The extra pair of feet belong to my nine-year old nephew, and while it's not the best quality (taken on my Blackberry), my love for these shoes withstands all crappy picture-taking.
All of these things have been putting me in the mood of the season lately - what puts you in a good mood? Do you have a latest obsession - or one you associate with a particular season?

Happy hump day!

Mmm, that tea sounds yummy. Well, my current obsession is googling camera stuff. Want, want, want. But, you know, want the CAMERA first! :)

For me, Fall = boots, sweaters, scarves, and pumpkin spice lattes. So those are the things I am sort of obsessed with. I bought some boots on Saturday and they should arrive tomorrow. So excited! :)

I would like to be a tea drinker. Perhaps you can be my sponsor and show me the way. ;) I have been waiting for it to get cooler to try the teas you sent in that giveaway package. I will probably try them on Sunday. :)

And how awesome to come back to your desk and find that little present from your friend. That's awesome. and those shoes rock! I am also all about flats these days!!

Haha, I wish blogs had scents sometimes too! That tea sounds divine - I'm glad you're now a tea convert! If you like that, you should try some Chai (with milk - it's a must!).

Also, your nails look fabulous :)

Those teas sound heavenly. I can drink either coffee or tea, but my go to drink is usually a chai. I have found a few teas that I love to drink in the fall. One is an orange spice tea and the other is an apple cinnamon tea, it reminds me making apple butter on a perfect crisp fall day. Love the nailpolish color. I love darker nail colors in the fall/winter too. My favorites are dark purples and browns.

Love those flats; where did you get them? i'm always looking for new flats to wear =)

For me fall is hot chcolate, raking leaves, breaking out the scarves, a good pair of jeans with boots and a trip back to my college town for some good old fashion tailgating!

LOVE those flats! (I'm going to copy Nora and ask, "where did you get them?")

I love fall and everything about it. I know what you mean about the scent of fall, and I love the crisp air.

I think I have the same nail polish color! My nails are currently dark grey and I love it. It's silly how nail polish can put you in a good mood but hey, I'm not complaining because it works!

I'm going to bring you some fantastic tea that's a local favorite here in Seattle. I'm thinking it might be similar to what you're describing :-)

LOVE the nail color!

I hate tea. And I've tried them all. BUT. I want those tins. I may buy that tea just so I can keep the tins.

I'm all about the OPI darks. I'm in Boris and Natasha right now, and I love it. Also. I had no idea you could get it so super-cheap on Amazon.
