Living for the weekends

Happy Friday everyone! Are you ready for the weekend? I definitely am! See, today is my bestie's birthday and that's just the start of a fabulous weekend ahead of me.
Tonight is dinner at my parent's house with a cousin who's in town. (She's adorable and we don't get to see her a lot so it should be a lot of fun!) Then tomorrow is the "birthday adventure" day with Meg.

We started this tradition a few years ago - instead of just giving each other a present, we go do something. (For instance, I took her to Monticello because we'd never been there before, on my birthday we had a spa day, etc). I can't reveal the plans yet because she reads this blog and it's a surprise but I will definitely have pictures come Monday!

This Sunday will find us at the baptism for the son of good friends - both their boys are adorable and growing up so fast - and it's actually at the church where Ben and I got married so it should be a day full of love indeed!

After the baptism I'm heading to Mount Vernon where I'll hang out with Jess and get to meet Stevie! She's in town - literally ten minutes away from me - to celebrate her 30th birthday and I can't wait to meet her!

Sunday night? I think I'll come home and collapse. And then gear up for next weekend when I'm off to see Mandy! (More on that later).

What are you doing this weekend readers? What's your high/low for the week? My high: plans this weekend. My low: having crappy sleep most of the week. (Luckily that seems to have died down because I feel nice and rested this morning).

I hope you have a great weekend - oh, and be sure to stop by here tomorrow. I'm guest blogging for someone fabulous and I'll have the link up directing to her blog! Happy Friday!

have so much fun with your friend this weekend!

My high: unexpected package in the mail that made me grin from ear to ear.

My low: lack of sleep. Right there with you, sister. Hopefully we can both get some rest this weekend, somehow!?

A birthday adventure sounds amazing! I love that you guys are just going to hang out and make memories together, I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday :)

You're going to have an incredible weekend- I saw Stevie tweet about being at the airport this morning and got all excited for you guys, have fun!

My weekend plans are lots of design work, and planning fun Halloween blog posts for next week because I'm a holiday geek :)

Your weekend sounds fabulous!!! Enjoy it :-)

High this week: Eeei, is it bad I don't really have one? It's been kind of a crappy week :(

Low: Not being able to run!

Here's to a MUCH BETTER week next week!

Wow, what a fun filled weekend! Tom and I are doing dinner w/ his brother & his wife tonight and then dinner w/ his best friend & his wife tomorrow night. So a weekend of double dates!

Hi: A laughing fest w/ Tom on Wednesday night.
Low: I was uber cranky at work yesterday. So crank that I dropped the F-bomb when telling Tom about it last night. I am feeling much less snarky today, though. :)

Have a fabulous weekend! So jealous that you get to hang out w/ Mandy next weekend!!
