I did it!

Today is officially the last day of NaBloPoMo! Thirty posts in thirty days - I did it!
When I first thought about the idea I figured it wouldn't be too much of an adjustment. After all, I blog every weekday, it would just be adding a Saturday and Sunday post as well each week. I was a little concerned about coming up with ideas for the weekends - I didn't want to write for the sake of writing, and weekends are normally my brainstorming times for weekday posts - but overall I think I did pretty well. Plus, I've been so Monday through Friday for a year and a half now - it was kind of fun to get emails about comments on a Saturday afternoon.

However, what I did not factor in was the amount of time I would not have for other things - mainly, commenting on blogs. I would be tired at night and instead of scrolling through some blogs and leaving a comment or two I would be up writing and editing a post for the next day because I knew I couldn't skip posting. Whew! Overall fun, but a lot of work! (I might just take tomorrow off).

What do you think readers? Did you like the weekend posts? Any of you bloggers try (or previously tried) NaBloPoMo? How did you feel afterwards? And because I haven't been able to comment on all the blogs I've wanted to - tell me something that's been going on in your world lately!

Happy last day of November! (Oh, and the giveaway is still going on - enter here!)

Well done! I have not participated... I don't know if I could do it... I suppose I could but I feel like I would run out of post ideas. I enjoyed reading all of yours, though!

I always feel as though I don't have enough thoughts to write about or if I go on my rants that I want too, I will just irritate my readers away hahaha. ;) Oh and the feeling of exhaustion and just READING through blogs is enough for me right now.

You know I tried to do it and failed... I even realized I wasn't posting and decided that I just plain didn't care. I did complete NaBloPoMo once or twice before in the past so I suppose repeat performances aren't necessary!? At least that's what I'm telling myself ;) Way to go you, though! You totally rocked it!

Congratulations for completing this!! In my ideal world I would be posting six days a week. Right now it's definitely not possible but I'm hoping that in the new year I can get back on track :) It's a balancing act!

I did it once. And I'll never do it again. I do NOT like feeling compelled to write. I'm all bratty about my blogging. I want to write whenever I feel like it, not be held to some standard.

Hi Ben - Hi Becky :) Test?? ;)

YAY for posting for 30 days straight! That is amazing and takes a lot of dedication! I am bad for SCHEDULING posts lately so if I'm tired the night before a post often doesn't get made! I try to make up for missing posts during the week by posting on the weekend. My ideal posting schedule would be 5-6 days a week I think!

Oh, and totally take a day off tomorrow ;)

Hooray for making it through the month! Congratulations, its not an easy feat. I once tried NaBloPoMo but let's be honest, I'm not good with any sort of schedule. =)
