One night last week I was sitting on my couch at the end of a long day, doing a few things on my computer before heading to bed. Usually when I come home I change into pajama pants and a t-shirt - I like to be comfy. But that day had been so busy I hadn't changed into my "comfy" clothes yet. I'd gone from work to a yoga class (outfit change), to meeting a friend at Starbucks (another outfit change), to the library, then home to make dinner.

I'm sitting there almost done with emails when my neck starts to itch. I scratch it, no big deal. (I promise this story is going somewhere). A few seconds later it itches again but it seems to be more around my collarbone. Again, I scratch it, whatever. But a few seconds later, you guessed it, I was itching again. It seemed to be spreading and was now between my collarbone and my sternum - still really high up on my chest. I reached under my shirt to scratch the bottom of my neck thinking this was ridiculous and pull out...a dryer sheet. Silly and funny right? Except this is not the first time this has happened!!! Seriously? I had been wearing that shirt for at least three and a half hours!

I must have been riled up because the mister told me the next morning that I had been talking in my sleep that night - more than usual. He actually downloaded a little notepad app for his phone (in the middle of the night!) just so he could write down what I said in my sleep. These were his two favorites of the night:

When he was getting settled in bed I rolled over and muttered, "dude get on the ground and deal with it." (He told me he wasn't sure if I was talking to this Dude or just someone random in my dream).

And a few minutes later (maybe while he was downloading the app?) I whispered, "I want to widget a little bit more."

Yup. This is why I have a blog people - I need others to laugh with me at the ridiculous-ness that is my life.

Anyone have any dryer sheet or sleep talking stories to share? No? Just me? How about something silly that you've done or has happened to you lately?

Happy almost Friday!

Your sleep stories always make me laugh. I haven't found a dryer sheet in my clothes, but I have been itching and found a bug crawling around before. Gross. ;)

Hahah, I have had a similar experience with a dryer sheet. Damn things. Usually in the mornings I'm not coherent enough to make sure there isn't one stuck in the arms or inside of it somewhere. I suppose I should start checking for that stuff when I take them out of the dryer.
