The tenth day

Today I'm thankful for the ability to let go. I have by no means mastered this skill in any way, but once I started not worrying so much about lists, it's been a lot easier to relax and let things go. There's a line between laziness and not worrying about getting things done, and I'm happy to report I think I've found the middle ground for now.

I still use lists to organize how I'm going to do my errands (it helps me visually see where I'm going to go - especially important in Northern Virginia depending on the time of day to factor in traffic), and what I need at the grocery store, and while I still think crossing stuff off a list is fun, I no longer make lists for that sole purpose.

Thanks for coming back each day for my second annual installment of ten days of thankful! (Don't worry, I'm still kicking NaBloPoMo butt so I'll be around the rest of the week).

Are you a big list maker? Are you able to let things go, or do you struggle with it? What are you thankful for today?

Happy hump day!

I need to work on letting more things go. That is the #1 thing I need to work on in 2011. But I think I need to break it down in more small, manageable goals. Maybe?

Either way - YAY you will still be blogging the rest of the week, I hate when things go quiet around the holidays!

Yeah I'm definitely a list maker. I was actually just considering making a list of what I want to do this weekend haha- what can I say, they keep me on track! But letting things go would be good... for me, I tend to let things go in the end but let them stress me out for awhile first. Like I'll get an idea in my head and want to do it, stress about it, and then in the end just not do it. Meanwhile I should've just decided in the beginning that was too much... if that makes sense.

I am a list maker extraordinaire! I get inspired by yours! I don't think I want to let go though...
