Things I've learned this week

*Getting up at 6 AM when you didn't go to bed until almost 1 AM is fine as long as you "sleep when the baby sleeps." If you don't, it means you'll crash at 9:30 PM that night and not move until the next morning.
*When two molars are coming in at the same time for a 16-month old, orajel and baby Tylenol are your best friends.
*Toys are fun, but the seat belt straps in the carts at stores? Waaaay more interesting.
*Baby words are hilarious. For instance, Madison loves lights, and she points at lamps even when they're not on. I think she's trying to say bright and light combined but somehow it comes out sounding like Dubai. (See for yourself below).

Disclaimer for the video: please excuse the parts of the car in the beginning - I was trying to keep the camera out of her line of vision at first because she usually clams up. Also, please excuse my Dad imitating her noises. (Although I have to admit that's almost as much fun). Sorry for all the pictures/videos of my niece this week, but I can't help it - she cracks me up!

Any fun weekend plans? What's your high/low for this week? My high is definitely having my brother, sister-in-law, and niece here. My low is they're leaving on Monday and I wish they lived closer.

Be sure to come back tomorrow - there just might be a giveaway involved. Happy Friday!
