The thinkers

Today kicks off my second annual ten days of thankful series. (Thanks to Lisa for inspiring the idea). Today I'm thankful for people who think outside the box. The ones who see a need and then create an organization/charity/foundation to fulfill that need.

Friday I cut my hair and am donating it to locks of love. I've gotten my hair cut before but never to give to someone else. I was nervous going into it, but I feel so good now, and I'm excited that it'll be going towards a cause. (Ready for some pictures?)

Before:
During:
This is not a flattering picture at all, but I like my expression!
After:
What do you think? It's a big adjustment but I like it!

The process of growing it out was hard at times, and getting my haircut was fun, but I love that someone thought of the idea for locks of love and now people can keep that going but simply sending off their hair.

Do you consider yourself a think outside the box kind of person? What are you thankful for today? (Nothing is too big or small!)

I think your hair looks awesome. Your head must be saying thank you after carrying around the weight of long hair. :) I remember that 'feeling of lightness' after chopping mine!

Love that you are doing 10 Days of Thanksgiving again this year. :)

I already told you but I think it's fabulous! Very professional and chic. I also am super proud of you for growing out your hair (during the summer no less!) and donating it to this great charity :)

How fun! I did this, but didn't capture it quite as well as you did. :) But it's such a great cause and I'm so glad I grew my hair out to cut it all off. I'm definitely going to do it again.

And I think your new haircut looks adorable on you! I totally love it!
