I get so emotional baby

Happy Monday! And congratulations to Elizabeth from This Robbin's Nest who is the winner of the CSN giveaway! (Email me within 48 hours in order to claim your prize).

How was your weekend readers? I was talking to the mister at one point and told him I feel like I've been very emotional lately. Like, I'm watching a TV show and got so wrapped up in the love story of high school characters that when they broke up I was almost in tears. Or how when I was frustrated in the kitchen because I dropped something I actually kicked the cabinet and yelled a little.

Other than not feeling well and maybe not getting enough sleep, I have no idea why I've been all over the place lately. Maybe it's a weird sub-conscious reaction to the holiday season - even though I'm really pumped about it? (And nooooo I am not pregnant. So that's not an option).

Make me feel a little less crazy in the comments - please! Have you ever been all over the map emotionally? Was it a reaction to something?

Oh I hate it when I get like that, but I completely know what you mean! I've been a lot better lately, but for me it's 100% related to sleep. Any less than eight hours and I'm just not really myself- I've started listening to my body more and I'm feeling a lot better these days. Between the holidays and house hunting and your trip coming up you have a lot on your mind!! I can't imagine it's easy to deal with. Make sure you're being kind to yourself and taking the down time that you need <3

I agree with Kyla, although I'm always happy to blame those odd hormone issues on that monthly pain-in-the-hoo-ha. LOL.
Rest assured you are just fine the way you are, and I can't wait to see you for dinner!

For me? It's the holidays. They make me all emotional and weepy so I totally get it. I think it's 100% normal. Sometimes it is weather related, too. Like when it's dreary out? I'm dreary and then sad and then more prone to cry. Sometimes it's sleep related too, or having something nagging at me that I can't quite pinpoint. So my guess it's a combination of things. Point being, you're not crazy. At all. It happens to lots of us!

I definitely get like that. Especially if I haven't eaten! For me it has a lot to do with when/how I'm eating...if I don't eat regularly, I can get moody!! Anyway, I think it also has a lot to do with the season, it's supposed to be a time of joy, relaxation, and love but I think a lot of people become frenzied and overwhelmed. I really believe that we can feel all that negative energy in the air & it puts us on edge for sure! YOU ARE NOT CRAZY. <3 (PS: I always get teary about tv break ups--I've cried watching GOSSIP GIRL for goodness sake. Haha.)

I think we all have those times. Fear not, it's probably just nasty hormones!

Oh yay! Emailing you now :)

And emotions? Pfft. It's totally not fair that we women aren't equipped with a switch to turn it on or off when necessary. Especially that time of the month. I, for one, could totally use something like that. :-)

For me it's a combo of the weather + how much sleep I am getting. Like right now, I don't see much sunlight (especially since I work in teh basement w/ no windows...), so that does not help as I get the blues a bit, and then am more prone to tears, etc.

I've been on the emotional side too lately, but mostly because I'm stressing over everything I need to do.

However, you are now at the age where my hormones decided to start changing to prepare for the wonderful thirties! Issues with my body that I had never had before started creeping up (i.e. that time of the month, emotions, oily face). So it could be a little bit of that too.
