Moments

I'm going to get sentimental for a minute people. I have some remembering to do from this year.
Spending time with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece at Thanksgiving, my mother-in-law teaching me how to make homemade rolls on Christmas (more on that later!), celebrating three years of marriage with my amazing husband, experiencing a sense of accomplishment by completing goals, and donating my hair. Laughing so hard it hurts to smile, learning how to make apple butter, celebrations with loved ones, getting sidetracked at book club resulting in hilarious conversations, and realizing just how incredible my friends are.

I've admitted I'm a wimp (and then proved it while dealing with my knee and finger), Ben and I have learned to lean on each other in new ways, (that also includes more crazy sleep stories), I've grieved, I've learned to let go, and I'm okay with sometimes throwing out the list.

I set two goals for myself this year - to appreciate more and to conquer eyeliner. Eh. One out of two isn't bad. (Despite help, I'm still intimidated by eyeliner). This year, my goal is not to make a list of books to read. Lately reading has almost become a chore and to make sure that doesn't happen, I'm not going to limit myself to what I can or should read.

Do you have any goals for 2011? Moments you want to remember? (And as always thanks for being around to share in mine!)

What a great reflection on 2010! It's been quite a year for you, full of highs and lows.

My goals for 2010 are to run a 1/2 marathon in under 2 hours and to pass the CFA exam in June (it's a ginormous, difficult finance exam, the first of 3 I will take).

Looking back, I realize that 2010 was a very good year for me and mine. It's funny, because 2009 was a little awful and I didn't know what to expect in 2010. It turned out better than I would have guessed!

I sort of love this and it made me teary. I'm so glad that we're friends and were able to hang out three times this year! Seriously, DC was such a highlight of my year! I can't wait to see you again this year -- don't forget we basically have a standing date anytime you drive through on 70. =)

Great reflection on 2010! Love it :) I had some amazing moments this year as well like the time I spent in Europe, graduating University and running my marathon!

You could totally write a book off of those two goals... I kid you not. The conquering eyeliner is so great!

So happy to know you love.

Best,

Hannah Katy
