Lately

Lately...I've been amazed at how I can be stressed and worried about every little penny we're making, but still be so blissfully happy at the same time. Is this what they mean when they say money can't buy love? Because (respectively) the mister and I do not have money, but we have a whole lot of love!

Lately...I've been thinking about how I might want to focus this blog a little bit more. I'm not sure if this means starting some recurring series, or something bigger, but I'm excited about the possibilities.

Lately...I've been loving the library. There are a couple within fifteen minutes of where I live, but I've been visiting the smaller of the two. It's the library of my childhood, and last time I was there I experienced a combination of excitement and peace - it was the same feeling the first time I was there and realized I was in a building full of books.

Lately...I've been getting my reading groove back. In Ukraine, I finished Look Again, Prep (review coming soon), and sitting on my table are Loving Frank, How Starbucks Saved My Life, Making Toast, and a biography about F. Scott Fitzgerald. I'm going to spend my next few days diving into the written word - and I couldn't be more thrilled about it.

Lately...I've been wondering if you're out there readers. Thanks to the steady commenters - but I'd love to hear from all of you!

Lately...I haven't just been dreaming of possibilities in my life, I've been taking steps to making them happen. (More to follow!)

What have you been doing lately?

Lately I have been pretty stressed about the CFA test in June and this other licensing test I have to take for work in April. I don't like feeling like I can never truly relax... But it will all be behind me after June 4th so I remind myself that it's temporary!

Lately I have read a lot of great books! A Moveable Feast, One Day, and The Invisible Bridge were all great vacation reads!

Lately I've been so busy I want to cry. Mostly just this week but I've been getting up at 5 - 5:30 every day to either do freelance or workout and then working all day and then having commitments every evening whether it being run group or working at the yoga studio. Today is another 9-10 hour day of working and then driving 1 hour to have dinner with an old g/f - it's FUN stuff but still stuff that keeps me BUSY!

Also I really want to read 'how starbucks saved my life' so maybe we can do a book swap after your done with it :) Though I'm not sure I have any books you haven't read yet, but maybe!

Lately I've been feeling exhausted from traveling so much this month. And I woke up with a slightly scratchy sore throat today, so I hope I'm not coming down with something :(

I'm excited to see what direction you turn your blog into. You could maybe focus on a few niches you're really into?

Lately work has really been consuming my life and I cannot wait for cold and flu season to wain! I like your thoughts today - especially about the library. I love everything about the library!

I read Prep a few years ago. I'm still not sure how I felt about it (ha!).

Lately... I wish that distance wasn't such an issue in my life right now. I'm very happy, don't get me wrong but at the same time, I'd love to NOT have distance.

Lately, I miss my friends both near and far.

Lately, I want to read but I can't find anything good to read...

Lately I've been so horrible about commenting on blogs because I read them when I'm feeding the baby. But I love you. And I'm here, always. :)

Lately, I've been so freaking busy with school, exercise, and life that blogging has totally fallen to the wayside. But I'm also really, really happy and satisfied, so it all works out. :)

Great post today!

You know how much I like books, so the library is a big place in my life! I sometimes forget all that they have there and when I was struggling to find a really nice baby cross-stitch pattern, the library came through! I had no idea how many books they have on cross-stitching!

I am also really interested in some of the books you listed as being on your to-read list. Pass those along! :)

I've been so caught up in work/being in a new relationship lately that I keep forgetting to take the time to sit down with a new book. I don't remember the last time I went to the library! Shame.

Lately I've been a bit overwhelmed with life. Not sure where the times goes but sometimes it just seems like there's not enough of it. I've been bad about commenting but I always read, promise!
