Saturday morning found me making waffles with my new
waffle iron from CSN Stores! I've been thinking about breakfast foods lately, so when I was looking at products to review, this looked fabulous. I'm here to tell you, it did not disappoint.
And you know how they say the first pancake is a test? That applies to waffles too. Want to see how?
If you pour this much batter on a waffle iron...
...this will happen.
To say I was freaking out is an understatement. Luckily the mister and the
bestie laughed it off, and Meg even scraped the first waffle off the iron - not an easy feat when you forget to spray it!
This would be the correct amount of batter.
I really like this waffle iron - it came with tips (spray it between each waffle, how to clean it), and recipes! It just plugs in, you adjust the scale to cook it (anywhere from 1-5), pour in the batter, and when it's done cooking the light changes from red to green - in almost no time at all.
Yes they were as delicious as they looked!
I also really liked that it was easy to clean. I just wish it had a buzzer in addition to the light because then I wouldn't have to monitor it so closely - but I think that might be asking too much from a waffle iron!

yummy! I'm starving for waffles now. And I know for a fact that if I ever try to make some, I will need a test waffle FOR SURE!
I do not own a waffle iron! Which is funny since I did a giveaway for one and said every kitchen should have one! But, I love having waffles at my parents!!
Waffles are so delicious and these with the strawberries look gourmet! Sadly, I dont have a waffle iron either. I should change that at some point.
we used to have a waffle maker and then some how it disappeared.. no idea what happened to it. actually we have gone through 2 of them.. no idea where either of them are.
i have the same waffle iron! the only person that does test waffles in my house is the hubz; i am a waffle perfectionist. LOL. and i love having fresh waffles... i've got a zillion recipes you can try when you're up for some tastebud adventuring. ;o)
Um, start a bed & breakfast at your place so I can enjoy some waffles? I do not have a waffle iron, but my parents do. It's fun, most definitely fun and it makes great waffles. and now I'd like some homemade waffles... =)

I love our waffle iron! It's fun to use every once in awhile for a nice treat.
My mom has a waffle iron that makes heart shaped waffles and I've been begging her to give it to me for years. The heart shaped waffles make me so nostalgic for my childhood.
I have never even given having a waffle iron a thought, but your post has intrigued me to look into it! Hmm...
That's funny because I was just telling my husband the other day that I want to get a waffle iron because I hate making pancakes especially flipping them over stresses me out.
