Six months + Six dresses: Version 2.0

Holy end of April - where is this year going people?

Last year I participated in Kyla's Six months + Six dresses series and I emailed her recently to see if she was going to host it again this year. She says she has plans to do so, but I was so excited about this first dress, I wanted to go ahead and post about it!

I won this dress in Nora's Shabby Apple giveaway about a month ago - it's not my normal style which is why I think I like it. Perfect Easter dress, no? (Note to self: next time put on makeup so you look more awake).
I twirled a little bit for these photos and they're not the best shots of me but I think they show off the details of the dress well. (Another note to self: heels and soft ground do not mix).
What do you think? Do you have any Shabby Apple dresses? (I love pretty much everything on their site). Are you a fan of dresses? Have you gotten any cute ones lately?

(*Disclaimer: I spoke to Kyla before using the name of this series again because it was her idea. Plagiarism in any form hurts my former English major heart, so if you like this idea or want to participate please link back to her!)

"plagiarism in any form hurts my former English major hear" - love this! You are too freaking cute!

I love that dress! And I love shabby apple! I got a dress from there for a holiday party & then for my 30ths and loved both!

I love dresses. I would wear one every day. You know, if spring ever arrived?

Love this dress. I'm doing a review for Shabby Apple soon & I almost went with this one, but I was afraid it wouldn't fit me. I can't wait for my dress to arrive!

Looks so super cute on you and I'm so glad you love it! I had to laugh at the heels + soft ground comment, that's so something I would do :)

(And the last line of this also made me smile. You're too adorable.)

Dresses? I love them. I have refrained from buying any as of late, but plan to at some point with engagement parties & bridal shower stuff on the horizon in the next year!

Omg adorable!! I love it!! I haven't worn a dress in so long, as soon as spring finally gets here and it's warm enough I will start wearing them more regularly. I love comfy dresses - bonus points if it has pockets :)

I love that dress :D I tried to participate in 6 months + 6 dresses last year but I only ever got the first dress - then I had a baby and shopping for much of anything became extremely difficult with my little sidekick. Maybe this year I'll actually be able to leave him at home :D

So pretty! I love the dress and it looks great on you. I'm not a fan of dresses. I have a few in my closet but very rarely pull them out.
