A weekend of cuteness

This weekend found me laughing with friends, eating (and making) delicious food, and cooing, cuddling, and kissing babies. Saturday I attended a one-year old's birthday party where the birthday boy was sweet and tired, but rallied when he got a taste of birthday cake, and yesterday Brittany came up to visit! (Fun fact: Brittany and I actually went to high school together, and have re-connected through blogging!)

Brittany brought her adorable son Henry, we talked about everything from jobs and babies to trips and blogging; she was patient when it seemed like everyone and their brother called me, and I laughed when she apologized for Cheerios on our carpet. She's one of the sweetest people I know - she even brought little gifts for Ben and me, including a necklace that reminded her of one of my posts! Here's a little taste of our afternoon.
Henry was relaxed, sweet, and loved food. (A boy after my own heart).
(She said he'd never really given a hug before - we captured his first one!)
My baby fix was definitely met. (And you better believe I'll be rocking that necklace all week!)

How was your weekend? Happy Monday!

Yay, I had the absolute best time! In case anyone is wondering, Becky serves a mean lunch and she will even let you eat dessert first!

How did we not know each other better in high school!?

Oh fun! Love the necklace, it' so you! And that baby? So adorable. Love his name, too.

My weekend was all about studying, as you know. But the finish line is in sight!

My weekend was pretty relaxing, but life is about to get a bit more crazy from here so I'm thankful for that!
