It's electric

Last year I participated in Kyla's Six months + Six Dresses series and I had so much fun I wanted to do it again this year!*

I made a pact with myself to start infusing more color into my wardrobe. I'm happy to say I continued that tradition with this month's dress - what a great electric blue, right?

What I like about this dress is how flowy (AKA comfy!) it is! Plus, it can be worn a few different ways. I added the tank top underneath and occasionally I'll add a wide belt and wear it to the office. But if I ditched the belt and tank top it might just be perfect for a wedding we're going to in a few weeks!

(And this is what happens when your husband won't stop pressing the shutter button on the camera).

Do you go for color or comfort (or both?) when you're looking for dresses? Are you a bold color kind of person or more subdued in how you dress?

(*Disclaimer: I spoke to Kyla before using the name of this series again because it was her idea. Plagiarism in any form hurts my former English major heart, so if you like this idea or want to participate please link back to her!)

I usually shy away from color, but I've been trying, too. Good choice with this dress!

Love it! It looks great on you!

I have a wide array of dresses. I have lots of jersey fabric dresses that i wear on weekends (and some i can wear to work with a tank under and a cardigan), and then i have more professional looking ones from Jcrew and places like that.

Alot of my dresses are in the brown/black/navy family but I perk them up by wearing a fun colored cardigan! :)
