Fridays are for smiles

So far? September is fabulous. I know, I know, it's only the second day of the month, but there is just so much good happening! (And what better way to share it than a list?)

*Sarah's August recap post - numbers three and four were just what I needed to read yesterday.

*New blog crushes. I love finding new blogs - and Jenny is delightful!

*It was cool out yesterday morning - almost like autumn was giving me a taste of what it will be like in the coming weeks. I took that as an opportunity to wear tights and almost danced out the door in them!

*I don't talk a lot about religion here, because I don't ever want to be preach-y or seem like I'm shoving it in anyone's face. However, it's been kind of a stressful week, and yesterday something small totally tipped my stress levels in an amazing way. Just a small little grace, but it almost brought me to tears because it was just what I needed to see at the time. It just reminds me that God doesn't give you more than you can handle (even if you think otherwise). I'm all about adjusting your attitude, but sometimes there's only so much you can do on your own and you need a reminder from a higher power to reassure you there is a plan and it's going to be okay. So today? I'm grateful for that.

*Love letters. I can't tell you how good this site has been for my soul. (We'd love for you to join/follow/read us!)

*I get to see my niece in one week! Since we didn't actually make it out to the wedding in July, I haven't seen her since April and I'm going through withdrawal! My brother and sister-in-law will be out for a quick weekend trip and I can't wait to soak up as much time with them as possible.

*My Erin Condren life planner has officially shipped. As I said on twitter the other day - let the stalking begin. (No really, it's a problem). I'm going to do a whole post about this once it arrives (and it might just include a video!), because there's been a lot of talk about these things. I already love mine because it speaks to my type-A self, and I only paid half price. (How could you not love that?) More to follow!

*A three-day weekend. Enough said.

*It's my birthday month! And my sister-in-law's birthday month! And Amber and Nora's birthday month! Any other September babies out there?

What's making you smile today? Are you loving September so far?

Happy Friday!

Love your fourth bullet. I completely agree with you about not giving more than you can handle.

My planner is supposed to ship on the 9th - I am being so impatient. I want it NOW! I think we got the same one... I showed Lisa and Amber which one I got and they think it's the same one. Planner twins! :) I'm totally doing a post on this too! Not sure what yet, probably just pictures, but it definitely deserves an entire post!

Have a good Friday! I'm glad this month is going great for you so far!!!!!!! You deserve it!!

I am so not using my Life Planner like I should. Maybe a video on Using a Life Planner 101? I need it. :)

My brother has a birthday this month and my nephew turns THREE. I'm still in shock about that!

You're going to love your planner. I'm obsessed with mine and refer to it like 20 times a day!!!

Yay for September babies!!!! September is definitely my FAVOURITE month of the year!

Where do I even start? Well, first of all thank you! I love your blog also! :)

I feel the same way about blogging about religion...I don't know why it's so weird... I guess it's just SO personal (but that's what blogs are for, right?). I just tend to be more subtle when it comes to that topic.

I've very intrigued by the love letters. I love the idea behind them and what they stand for. I'm definitely thinking about trying it out. :)

I can't wait to read your post about the planner. I would have already bought one if I didn't have to face the humiliation of admitting to my husband that yes, I bought yet another one. I feel like I'm always in search for the "perfect planner," the planner that gets me. Haha! And I watched Ashley's video and she said she used a coupon--I'm guessing you used one? I'm going to go google it now.

Sorry for the novel comment. Have a great holiday weekend!
