Eat it: Crock pot chicken and potatoes - I found this recipe from Sarah, and it is awesome. It literally took five minutes to put in the crock pot...and then five minutes to devour it once it was finished. Go make it.
(This is not the final product, because that was consumed too quickly. I told you it was good!)
Read it: Articles from the latest volume (twelve) of the ADHD magazine, ADDitude. My mother-in-law got us a subscription to this magazine and it is wonderful! Ben goes through and reads it cover to cover first and marks things that he thinks especially apply to him, then I go through and read it as well. Two of the articles really stood out to me this month - one was "You're So Sensitive" by Zoe Kessler. It talked about HSP, (a hyper-senstive person), and how they take things really hard and can internalize the most innocent of comments. It's made me more conscious of how I say things to Ben. The second one is "Med Mantras: 10 Ways to Tell if Your Doctor Knows What He's Talking about" by Gina Pera. I have a whole post brewing in my head about medication with Adult ADHD and finding what works, and this article goes hand-in-hand with that.
Need it: This Eisley necklace from Kerri's shop yourwishcake. The necklace is named after her daughter which so sweet to begin with, and the grey with polka dots? They're somehow light and pretty and unexpected, all at once, don't you think?
