For those who appreciate whimsy

Last year I pledged to have a handmade holiday, buying handmade gifts for everyone on our shopping list. With the exception of one or two things I accomplished it. I had so much fun I want to try it again this year...but what's fun handmade shopping without friends? I'll be sharing handmade products twice a month in hopes you find a great gift idea for someone!

It has been a couple weeks since I've done A Handmade Holiday post, and I'm sad to say this is the second to last one! I've had so much fun finding items and trying to decide what "category" to put them - it's like I've been able to virtually shop for all my fabulous readers! I hope you've found something you've liked, or gleaned an idea or two from one of these posts.

So without further ado, I give you gifts for those who love to be whimsical. (Otherwise known as people-who-have-a-good-sense-of-humor-and-like-to-laugh). Strangely enough, I feel like these could all be gifts for guys as well, so if you're looking for something funny for a spouse, boyfriend, dad, or brother, I think any of these could work!

First up, a nerd pocket pillow. I cannot express how awesome this is. It's a nerd pocket, but it's a pillow! Wouldn't this look awesome on a chair or sofa - talk about a conversation piece!

For the person who loves tea and zombies. What better way to express your love than zombie style?  You can't tell from the picture, but wrapped across the bottom of the cup it says "I love you more than zombies love brains." I actually got this for Ben for his birthday one year and he still uses it - and laughs every time, I might add. (Plus the seller shipped it really quickly - great customer service!)

Want a different look for your iphone or ipod charger that's not so streamlined? How about this wooden one - it's made from cedar but still gets the job done. It's a little pricey but at the time I wrote this post (last night) it wasn't as high as it normally is and the seller was offering free shipping to the U.S. and Canada.

And last, but certainly not least, some zombie pops. Yes, you read that correctly - zombie pops. Again, this is something I got for Ben at one point, and they were a hit. (What can I say? The dude likes zombies!) They are milk and white chocolate combined and according to Ben, tasty. But really, who doesn't laugh at this? They're a great (inexpensive) stocking sstuffer!

What do you think? Are you a fan of whimsical gifts? Do you enjoy zombies as much as Ben does? Happy hump day!

Ha, those are some awesome gifts! I am a whimsy person in some ways. Wait until you see the prints I have on my christmas list, which I will be posting on Friday!

I am not a zombie person, but I think that mug is awesome!

Those are awesome! My favorites are the pillow and the iPhone charger. Now, how can I convince my husband that the double iPhone charger is a gift for HIM? Hm. :)
