Energetic and loving it

You know how I talked about having a Magical 2012? I'm doing it people...this isn't just idle chit chat. So much that when Stephany sent me an email about "12 Changes In 2012" (bloggers focusing on one thing a month they'd like to change in their lives), I was all about it. (Actually, I'm not sure I responded to her email, so I might be unofficially participating, but I'm doing it all the same!)

My intention for January: Create more time for reading.

If you follow me on twitter, you know this has already been happening. Since Sunday, I've started and finished two books, and am already on my third. I know there are ebbs and flows of reading, but I'm trying to carve out time for myself each night to just read, so it becomes more of a habit, instead of something I love that gets pushed to a back burner. Plus, this means more books reviews on the blog. (I know you're excited...please contain yourself).

I'm just so pumped for this year! I know, I know, it's only the first week of January, but for once I don't think this feeling is going to fade, because I finally have the tools to help me carry out my goals - to help make my dreams a reality.

I want you to be just as excited too!

I'm going to give another plug to the Create Your Magical Year course over at Stratejoy, because it's awesome. I've since ordered the Joy Equation course,  which has caused my love for journaling to re-assert itself in full force!

I have badges with these links on the side of my blog where they're going to stay for awhile. I'm excited to be an affiliate for these courses (i.e. if you purchase either of them from the links on my blog I get a little something back), but more importantly, I believe in these courses.

You all know by now that I'm about full disclosure. And I wouldn't keep talking about something that wasn't worth it. I want you to have as awesome of a year as I'm planning to have! So just know that option is there, and if you want to do something for yourself (and a little something for me!) have at it, but for now...I'm off to read.

I love your enthusiastic attitude about 2012 :). So awesome to be so excited for the year to come. :)

I have been making sure i make time to read as well! Each night i stop studying around 8 so I can read for 45 min before going to bed around 9! It's my favorite part of the day most days!

I've been turning off all of the glowing screens at 9:30 each night so I can have a little reading time before bed. So relaxing!

I love the energy! I thought about doing the 12 changes in 2012 too, I think I'm just taking on too much this year. I need to cool my jets.

Love the picture! That dress looks gorgeous, I want to see the whole thing!

Oooh, I love this goal! Reading is such a huge passion of mine. And I also love your book reviews so I'm excited. :)

I'm going to contact Katherine and make sure you're on the list for this. She's overseeing it, basically!

This is a great goal- I started it last year in January and I was able to continue it mostly the whole year, with just a few short breaks :) I am really excited about another great year of reading. I'm looking forward to reading your book reviews!

It sounds like you're doing really well with your New Years resolutions. Congrats :) One of mine this year is to read more books but that hasn't really gone to plan so far...need to take a leaf out of your book! x

I think that is a great intention for January! I always wish I had more time to read, I mean I read a LOT already but lately I've been putting it on the back burner, and I need to get back to it. I'm also doing 12 Changes although I'm doing a health kick in January to get things started.

Good luck, can't wait to see what else you do this year! :)
