Friday musings

I had a few different posts in mind for today but this is what came out instead. It's Friday so I'm going with it.

*Facebook keeps telling me it's switching everyone to a timeline at the end of the month and I really don't want that, but I don't think there's any way to prevent it. I swear it's more trouble than it's worth.

*You know how my intention for March was to write more? I'm rockin' it. I'm excited and pumped and feel like I've let myself be more vulnerable and amazing things are happening. More to follow but just know getting out of your comfort zone is a good thing!

*Last night I was catching up on my hulu que and between New Girl and Cougartown I feel like I laughed almost the whole time. Excellent.

*I also seem to be slowly pulling out of my reading funk. I just finished a novel for my book club in a couple of weeks and I checked out two more books from the library last night. (Want to know what I'm reading? Friend me on goodreads!)

*I'm loving the comments about what you all adore about yourselves. And I love that one of you is going to win a copy of Fierce Love. If you haven't entered the giveaway yet you only have until Sunday!

*I've received a few more sleep texts from my sister lately. They are crazy and weird (and nine times out of ten don't make sense), and they make me laugh every time.

*Every time I talk to my niece (who's almost three now - when did that happen?) she amazes me in new ways. She's really saying sentences and carrying on conversations - and hearing her say "hi Becky, I want to come to your house!" half melts my heart and half breaks it. (You're welcome anytime sweet girl, just tell Mom and Dad to drive you here).

*Last night my back was bothering me and the only way I could get comfortable was to lay on my stomach in the middle of the living room floor. Luckily I have a husband who is not phased by this and will even carry on conversations with me when I do weird things.

Happy Friday everyone!

That sucks about your back! How has your knee been lately?

I'm glad you've gotten out of your reading funk! I have been reading like it's going out of style. It keeps me sane and gives me something to look forward to after studying!

New Girl & Cougartown are excellent, super funny indulgences! I watch them on my computer when I'm cooking or doing dishes. My newest addition to that time is GCB, it's really entertaining :)

Totally nothing wrong at all with getting comfortable when you're in pain! I wholeheartedly support that. Love that Ben keeps on talking, too =)

Lately I've been *kind of* contemplating getting back on Facebook but then I hear so much about how much it's changed and is kind of all up in your face so we will see if I will hop back on there.

Anyway, Happy Friday!

xoxo

Lying on the floor ALWAYS makes my back feel better! Or else I bug Eric to crack it for me. I think it has something to do with the hard, flat surface.

Can't wait to catch up on Sunday! XO

You won't really even notice the change to Timeline. It doesn't change your newsfeed, just your profile. And you won't have to do anything once the change is made, unless you want to change your profile and cover photo. It's actually pretty cool!

I just started reading "The Night Swimmer" and I'm loving it so far. I'm also on book 3 of the Game of Thrones series, which is AWESOME.

I can't wait to know a little kid. Is that a weird thing to say? There are no kids in my life!

Personally, I get tired of all the FB changes that are forced on everyone but what can you do other than delete account, which I don't feel like doing as I keep in touch with family that way. It is annoying though!

Glad to hear you are rocking the writing! Keep it up and enjoy!

Timeline isn't really that big of a deal, I promise. Like Stephanie said, it doesn't affect your news feed, only your profile. And it's actually pretty cool! At least I think so. :)

I'm soooo excited to hear who wins the Stratejoy giveaway!
