Happy Friday! Whew, I felt like this week would never end - it's been one busy day after the next and I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend! And what better way to start that than sharing some things I loved this week!
First off, I am immensely proud of myself for keeping the roses I bought last weekend alive. I tend to forget about plants in my house, so the fact that the flowers are still alive, much less thriving is no small feat. (Remember this?)
I've been trying to write more posts lately that make me think and challenge me, and this week that included talking about how I'm like Washington, D.C. and how dreaming isn't settling.
I love love love Brittney's post about the direction of blogging - what it's become, what she likes, doesn't like, and why she's going to keep going. I found myself nodding and agreeing with a lot of what she said.
I am ridiculously excited to try these black bean brownies Kyla wrote about. They sound a little crazy, but also healthy and delicious - and while they technically have added sugar, they are definitely healthier than some other dessert alternatives.
Speaking of my April intentions, so far so good! I've been to the dentist once (and will be going back next week), I've been limiting my added sugar in food, and I've been talking to some people about alternate ways to help manage PCOS symptoms. (More on that later).
