Returning to me
I said I was taking some time off from blogging in June, and while I'm not quite ready to come back completely yet, I'm dipping my toes and testing the water, because pretty soon I'll be jumping back in with a splash.
The quiet has been good for me. I was running on fumes before, and I've given my mind time to settle down.
I'm seeing posts about summer goals and reading pledges and for the first time I'm happy to simply read about these challenges instead of needing to participate in all of them.
My goal for May was to be kinder to myself and I was...physically.
But June is about being gentle with myself emotionally. I'm okay with coming home and reading a book, instead of getting on the computer; not stressing about a blog post but rather making dinner, and letting myself re-discover this magical year.
This summer is going to be health-focused. I'll be working with a Holistic Health Consultant (more on that later) in addition to changing how I look at eating and exercising in an effort to mitigate PCOS symptoms.
I'm going to be kind to myself, relax, and let go - which I think is going to make for some interesting blog posts!
