A few months ago I posted about being uncomfortable in my own skin - about who I am not matching who I saw in the mirror. These past few months have been ones of change for me, and I'm happy to report that I think I'm slowly emerging from that disjointed mindset.
There are a few things responsible for this - trying to enjoy the summer to its fullest (instead of wishing it away), pushing myself with this sugar detox, and re-connecting with my body through yoga.
However, the biggest reason? I am actively taking time for me. Summer has been kind to me, but more importantly I have been kind to myself.
It makes all the difference.

So happy for you <3 <3
I am so glad to hear this!! You really are glowing in this photo. I am glad that summer has been good for you!
I feel like I go through a metamorphosis in the summer after CFA exams, as well, as I really feel like I become a shadow of myself in the winter/spring when I am stressed out with studying... It's nice to move out of my shadow and into the light in the summer and fall months! :)
Glad to hear you are feeling better and loving summer! I always feel 100 times better in the summer months, I like sun! :)
It's good to remember to take time out for you. I think it is the hardest thing to remember and am trying to make it a priority. However, I'm just trying to figure out which item on my 'me' list I want to tackle first.
