For now

I had this whole plan to write a post about how I've been reading more, and knitting more, and how taking this month one week at a time is changing my perspective about everything. However, I went into the dentist today thinking I was getting a cavity fixed and ended up getting a root canal.

So for now, this picture will have to suffice. (This was me trying to smile afterwards when half my face was still numb).

Oh! And the winner of the Perfect Morning giveaway is Kathleen! Congratulations! Send me an email to claim your goodies - and thanks to everyone who entered!

How was your weekend? How was your Monday? Have you ever been surprised by a dentist visit? (Honestly it wasn't that bad, just surprising).

A surprise root canal?! Oy!! At least, I suppose, there was no time to build up to it & dread it... hope you'll feeling all right & back to smiling again. :)

A surprise root canal?!? BECKY! That has to be the worst surprise, probably ever. Even if it didn't hurt & wasn't a big deal, that's just too bizarre!

I hope that this week has better things in store for you from here on out :)

Well I'm glad everything was going so well BEFORE the root canal. Also, I laughed out loud at that picture last night when you put it on twitter. Did not look like smiling to me at all haha. Hope it feels better quick!

Oh boy. A root canal? Ouch!! The last time I was at the dentist I had to get a cavity drilled and I surprised the dentist by handling it without novacaine. I hate that stuff!!

My weekend was great but felt short as I flew out on sunday for a work trip. Monday was great but super hectic as I had a full day of meetings. Same thing on Tuesday and then i rushed out of the office to get to the airport... so it was a chaotic day.

Dental work is rough! Hopefully this is the last time you have to attempt to smile with a numb mouth.

The dentist is my least favorite, probably even worse than the OB/GYN in my opinion!

Monday was hectic and also I'm not able to focus AT ALL!

When I was a child my father took me Seapoint clinic Dublin. That time I had heard many scary stories about dentist visits from my friends. But after returning home I realized that it was a good experience. That dentist was having really good understanding.
