Great expectations

A week ago Ben and I had our doctor's appointment with the Reproductive Endocrinologist. (You know, the one that had me so stressed I didn't know what to do with myself). I wasn't nervous when we were walking into the appointment itself, I just didn't know what to expect.

It was awesome.

I never thought I'd say that about a doctor's appointment, but it's true! We spent over an hour with the doctor, then we talked to the financial lady (I don't really know her title so that's what I call her) who had already contacted our insurance company and told us what they will/will not cover, and our nurse (yes our nurse, we will always see her when we go to this office) was so sweet. We laughed a lot which I think is a really good sign!

We have to get some "base-level" tests done - me more so than Ben - which I tweeted about the other day.
It's nice to have a plan...even if we don't know what the outcome may be.

Have you ever gone into something and it blew away your expectations? Was it in a good or a bad way? (Oh and expect to see plenty of tweets about blood draws - I have super crappy veins so it'll be a good time for the techs!)

Happy (almost) weekend!

I'm glad the appointment went well! It's great that you have a good nurse (and will always have the same one! Yay!) Great nurses make all the difference. Thinking of you, friend!

So glad the meeting went well. I hated our first RE, but ADORE our second one - it's all about getting a good team to look after you.

What's the plan for you guys? Here at any time if you ever need a chat! xx

I am SO glad your appointment went well. I had a feeling that it would, and that you'd walk away feeling better about things. I am glad that this office is so helpful and wonderful to work with. That is important!

I am so hopeful for you guys and know that this is going to work out! Love you!
