Controlled Chaos

Remember how my goal for October is to breathe through my areas of resistance? Well this week has been challenging that goal - whew! Long days at work, a whole debacle with a fraudulent charge on my check card, and being crazed/stressed/excited about our upcoming trip.

Oh yeah, did I mention that? Ben and I are taking a vacation - to celebrate a fabulous wedding on the same day he and I celebrate five years of marriage. To say I'm excited about this trip is a bit of an understatement. I'm sure I will be tweeting up a storm so if you don't already follow me (for shame!) you should get on it.

We will be seeing lots of sites including a visit to a zoo that has cheetahs (and penguins!), a trip to Mark Twain's boyhood home, and lots and lots of time together, just the two of us. I will be back next week with all kinds of pictures, but if you're in the mood for a little sentiment stop by Saturday for a post about being married for five years - I promise there's humor mixed in with the sappiness.

Oh! And I look like this now:
It's been quite the week.

How has your week been - have you had to breathe through your areas of resistance? What are you up to this weekend?

You have bangs now! So cute!

I hope y'all have so much fun this weekend. I'm sad that I won't be able to make it, but I'll stalk twitter for all the pictures and updates. :)

Well, you know what I did this weekend. :) Lots of fun and celebrating and good times with friends! Sunday was very busy as I got home, unpacked, started some laundry, and then dashed off to meet my coach to run 15 miles (which went fairly well).

I am doing so so at breathing through areas of resistance. I was a total b*tch in the security line yesterday because the people around me didnt know about the liquids rule and then things got held up when it was time to go through the scanner as this woman didn't know to remove her shoes and even when she was told to go back and take them off, she continued to stand there and block my way. And oh my gosh I about lost it as I was so frustrated with her. Yah, totally no deep breathing happening there!
