Instead of wishing this weekend wasn't over, I'm enjoying the time I have left.

Instead of being overwhelmed with all the knitting projects I want to do, I'm going to enjoy the one I just finished.
(Pretty, no? This yarn is so soft!)
Instead of thinking about how October is almost over, I'm enjoying the amazing color it's providing.
Instead of worrying about how messy our apartment is right now, I'm lighting a mulled cider candle and curling up with a book.

Instead of waiting until the last minute, I'm slowly starting to do some Christmas shopping so I can fully enjoy the holiday season this year.

What are you doing "instead" right now? Happy last little bit of your weekend!

I love how the picture of the scarf is right on top of the picture of fall foliage and the colors totally match!

I have a few stocking stuffers already so I'll consider that a win =) Instead of worrying about all the things I need to (change my name legally, social security card, driver's license, passport, etc. etc.) I am just enjoying the newness of being a newlywed! No rush to get all of those things done RIGHT now as it will come in time (and when i can get a vacation day to get it all done!)

Oooh this is fun I will have to do that.

AH CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. Don't even. I have learned over the last few years that I HATE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING and always leave it till the last minute because of my extreme hatred for it. It's so hard to find gifts for people who really don't need anything. Argh. I could write an entire post on how much I dislike it. haha.

Love the colors in your new scarf. Looks so cozy - perfect entry into the colder winter months to come!

I'm starting my Christmas shopping early, too! It's refreshing to be ahead of the game for a change. I don't know about you, but I'm usually a last minute shopper.

Love the scarf! It looks awesome on you!

Instead of being disappointed I didn't run a sub-4 marathon, I am feeling excited that I shaved 19 minutes off my previous PR!

Instead of focusing on how tired I am, I am focusing on how full my life feels.

Love your scarf!

I totally need to take a page out of your book and let the stress go and do something for me. I'm so stressed these days, curling up with a good book sounds like EXACTLY what I need to be doing!
