A sense of humor

Today I am thankful for a good sense of humor.

I think I have a pretty good attitude most of the time, but especially when it comes to health issues (PCOS, my teeth, etc), I'm thankful for a husband who can make me laugh regardless of what's happening, and doctors who can appreciate when something is so ridiculous it's funny.

There are of course times to be serious, but I firmly believe you have to be able to find the humor in a rough situation.

Are you able to laugh at (or with) yourself? Are you surrounded by people who believe this too?

Happy hump day!

I think you have a FABULOUS sense of humor and an amazing ability to see the humor in situations that could otherwise really get a person down. I am so so at laughing at myself or making light of situations. I tend to take life too seriously at times... Like the CFA. I have NO sense of humor about the CFA. I know I should try to find humor or lightness in the experience, but I just can't.

I loved hearing you giggle in St. Louis - it was infectious (in a good way!). I usually have a pretty good attitude, but when I'm in a sour mood, trying to make me laugh is usually a bad idea. Those are the moments when I really can't just shake it off.

Totally have been laughing at my week this week. It's been insane and ridiculous all at the same time and, um, it's only WEDNESDAY!

I totally have this on my list for my 10 Days of Thanksgiving too! No wonder we clicked right away.

I couldn't agree more about the importance of a good sense of humor! This is something I love about my marriage, Eric always, always makes me laugh.

Oh yes, I agree completely about this. I always try to laugh at ridiculous things that happen to me/us and/or shake them off because most of the time it's already happened so I can't change the outcome anyways!
