Letting go

Each month this year I've created an intention - some I've upheld, others not so much, and November's intention was to put my health first.

Overall I did pretty well, but as the month came to a close my stress level increased a bit. We had our follow up appointment earlier this week (more on that later), and right now to say I'm overwhelmed is a bit of an understatement.
This has been a big transition year for me and I want to close it on a positive note. So my intention for December is freedom. I'm going to allow myself to experience and feel whatever comes my way - good, bad, or in between. This year has flown by, and I want to savor December for a bit before January is ushered in.

So I'm allowing myself to be free with my time, my thoughts, my expectations, and to really take some time to re-charge before 2013 arrives.

Do you set monthly goals or intentions? What is yours for December?

Happy Friday!

(Don't forget about the 12 Days of Letter Writing! So far we've scripted letters for EmilyLezlie, Barbara, and Maripat. It's not too late to pen a note to them - and be sure to head over to the More Love Letters blog to see today's request!)

I think this is a great intention for December. I think it is important to allow yourself to feel the things you are feeling and acknowledge those feelings of frustration, fear, anger, etc. I wish all of this was easier for you. I am always here if you need to talk/vent/etc. Thinking of you!

My intention for December is to just be. I want to enjoy the day to day moments and the hours of freedom I have at night right now because all that free time will go away come December 26th. (sob)

I think that is a great intention too! I hope your appointment went well and you are overwhelmed with great options? I can hope :)

I'm trying really hard to enjoy December, relax and not be so stressed out. MUCH Easier said than done these days, but I'm trying so maybe that counts?

I think that's a fabulous intention given all that's going on with you lately! My intention in December is to breathe. I have been moving at 100 miles a minute lately and need to slow down and appreciate the small things, everything is going by so so quickly!
