Today is the last day of the 12 Days of Letter Writing and it's been bigger and more amazing than we ever could have imagined.
Today I get to share the final love letter request with you.
Justin is in the Army and was recently sent back to Germany, away from all of his friends and family. He is currently working through a divorce and is struggling with a few health issues. His family wrote, "He continues to serve our country on a daily basis and has to put his own needs and concerns aside. Justin could use someone to just come alongside him and say that it'll all be okay, that he'll make it."
You can make a difference in Justin's life. Here's how:
1. Pull out a piece of paper, stationery or a card - it doesn't have to be fancy.
2. Write a few words of encouragement to Justin - it doesn't have to be long, just heartfelt.
3. Snap a couple pictures and tweet them @moreloveletters or post them on the More Love Letters Facebook Wall.
4. Drop the letter in the mail within one week, addressed to:
P.O. Box 2061
North Haven, CT 06473
Some people get nervous about writing a love letter - so if you like, visit the love letter starter kit for some tips, tricks, and suggestions.
I hope this letter finds you happy and realizing how much you are loved.
You are incredible. You are loyal and caring and the world needs more people like you.
You take care of others - putting their needs before your own is in your nature. But when your heart is heavy, let these words lighten your load. Let someone else take care of you.
YOU ARE LOVED by so many - yes you, Justin! It doesn't make a difference to us what rank you are, and we won't change our minds if you have an off day - we admire and respect you and want to say thank you.
Thank you for sacrificing and being away from your loved ones. Thank you for helping others day in and day out. Thank you for serving. But most of all, thank you for being you.
Wishing you health and happiness, peace, joy, and so much LOVE.
Have you written a love letter for the 12 Days of Letter Writing? Would you write one more to send to Justin?
You just might love it...and I know he will.
