Virtual Coffee Date

I got this idea from Amber's post yesterday - I thought it was just too fun!

This is technically hot chocolate, but how about we have a virtual coffee date today?
If we were having coffee, I would tell you how much I'm looking forward to a date night with Ben. We rarely go out to eat, and when we do it's something fast that we can bring home. Tonight, I'm excited to put on a cute dress and sit in a restuarant with my husband.

If we were having coffee, I would gush about how my intention to make the appearance this month is going over like gangbusters. I've been posting photos on Instagram, and already this week I saw my reflection and thought damn, I look good! I can't tell you the last time I thought that.

If we were having coffee, I would give you a sad smile and tell you how much I miss my niece. My quick weekend trip to Ohio was so wonderful but I miss her silliness and all her energy.
I mean how could you not miss this?
If we were having coffee, I would be giddy with excitement over the Sealed with Love campaign, where More Love Letters is partnering with the United States Postal Service! I would encourage you to check out the letter requests, buy the new limited edition stamp, and see what a life sealed with love means for the More Love Letter team!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you how I'm going to the D.C. United opening season game with my sister in March; a friend is giving us their season tickets for the night which means incredible seats and the potential to be really close to the field during warmups! When my sister and I go to soccer games we have hilarious experiences, so I can't wait to see what happens this time.

If we were having coffee, I would recommend you read The Wednesday Sisters and offer to let you borrow my copy. Since we're having a virtual coffee date, if you leave a comment you'll be entered into a giveaway to win my copy of the book - I will send it to you!

What would you tell me if we were having coffee?

Happy Friday!

Ha, I love that we both did this today - we are totally brain twins as you said in my comment!! I love that photo of you reading to your niece! Too sweet! It is tough being away from family. I miss my nephews and niece like crazy!!

I have already read The Wednesday Sisters, so you can leave me out of the giveaway - but that is a really awesome idea!

Being an aunt is one of the most special relationships, isn't it? I love that photo of you two.

Great idea for a giveaway. Books are always awesome! And I think it means a little bit more coming from somebody else! Your niece is cute by the way. I have 4 nieces of my own and love them to death!!

Love this post! Adorable idea. (I already read the book so need to enter me into the drawing.)

I can't wait until we really can have coffee (well, hot chocolate for me) in less than two months.

I'm glad we finally got to catch up last night even if it wasn't exactly over coffee! Miss you!
