Hi! Oh hi! I'm back! I've missed you!
I decided on Fat Tuesday to give up blogging for Lent - I hadn't figured out what to give up yet so I made a last minute decision and figured it would be nice to take a little break. At first, it was. But in the last few weeks I feel like I've been having withdraw symptoms. Oh. My. Gosh. I realized for me, blogging is like marriage - it's hard work, but I love it and am in it for the long haul.
I'm just so excited to be back!
I have lots of posts planned for the next few weeks to play "catch up" but let me give you a quick recap - SO much has happened!
In the past forty days...
*I got a tattoo. (No, I'm not kidding).
*The Pope resigned and a new one was appointed. (I realize this has nothing to do with me, but hey, I'm keeping you informed).
*My aunt and cousin came for a visit, bringing my niece with them. I
introduced Maddie to Sweet Frog while she was here and I think she's a fan.
*I finished making the appearance and set no intention for March - apparently I need the accountability of this blog. (April intention coming soon!)
*I had my first hard fertility day since Ben and I made the decision to take a step back.
*I read, I knitted, and I celebrated the birthdays of my husband and my sister.
*I blogged about really important things.
*Google Reader decided to give me a heart attack by no longer existing after July. I'm in the process of finding a good substitute in between my bouts of sobbing.
*The baby girl I made a blanket for was born and I cannot wait to meet her in person!
*I was visited by two of my favorite people and we had a blast for a weekend that included me getting pulled over for the first time (funnier than I thought it would be), eating good food, and establishing it a "no plan-plan." (Much different from when Lisa and I rocked the itinerary).
*I read some good and not-so-good books. (Reviews coming soon!)
*I started planning a spring giveaway with lots of fabulous goodies for one of you to win.
*I continued to be amazed and humbled by how More Love Letters keeps growing. And this video of our founder, Hannah? Brought me to tears.
I spent time with friends, I planned trips, but most of all...I missed you. Expect an explosion of posts as I get my blogging mojo back!
What have you been up to in the past forty days? Happy April!

Glad to hear you missed blogging because I missed your posts :) I've actually made the switch over to Feedly and I'm not hating it. I used it as a chance to reorganize and clean out my reader a bit!
Welcome back!! I really missed your posts while you were gone!
I still need to find a replacement for Google Reader... I haven't researched my options yet. That might be a project for after the CFA exam. I might have to check out Feedly since Kelly doesn't hate it.
My last 40 days were spent traveling (for work), preparing for my move, studying a lot of hours, and trying to soak up time with family and friends.
So glad you're back. Also, worst picture of me ever!
Sometimes stepping away from blogging can result in really amazing things - clearly you have a very full life with or without your blog, but I'm very glad you're back! =)
I hear that Feedly is a great alternative to Google Reader... I need to switch over to something soon, too, and that's probably what I'll try!
I will second/third/fourth Feedly. It's not the same as Reader, but is a very good alternative.
Glad to have you back blogging again. YAY! :)
Yayy welcome back, I missed you! I think it's a good sign you were so ready to come back to blogging. I also love your comparison to marriage :) Can't wait for more updates from you!
Oh and I LOVE FEEDLY! I actually like it way way better than Reader :)
