After the heaviness of last week I thought something light would be a nice way to kick off Monday. I'm looking for the kindness in myself and others and what better way than a giveaway?
Here's what's at stake:
*Mint polka dot bag from Target (you're pretty lucky I'm not keeping this for myself - it's cute!)
*Small "bird" bag from one of my favorite Etsy shops
*A little something from a company I love
*Starbucks Tazo Passion Tea
*A necklace from the lovely Lisa Leonard (it's a gold heart hand-stamped with the word "love")
*The Language of Flowers - a book I recently read that I loved so much I needed to share. (Review coming soon!)
I'm so excited for you to win this! The giveaway is open to U.S. and Canada - and will close this Friday, April 26th at 11:59 PM (EST). I'll pick the winner this weekend and announce it next week.
How to enter:
1. Leave a comment telling me an act of kindness you did (or are going to do) today - this could be as simple as complimenting a stranger's outfit or holding the door for someone with their hands full, but feel free to be creative!
Extra Entries:
1. Like Love Everyday Life's Facebook page and leave a comment on this post saying you're a fan. (Also, keep an eye out - there might be additional ways for you to win announced throughout the week on the Facebook page).
2. Tag me in a tweet about this giveaway and leave me a comment on this post with your Twitter handle. (You can tweet about the giveaway once a day for extra entries but be sure to leave a comment for each tweet you send!)
Happy Monday!
*Disclaimer: I was not compensated for any of these products. I bought everything (or got it as a bonus with a purchase) on my own. I've giving away these items because I love them and want to share!*

This week I'm making cookies for my coworkers as a thank you for their putting up with me during stressful exhibit install and opening!
This morning I sent flowers to a friend who is going through a difficult time. I just wanted to let her know I was thinking about her, and that she has a friend to talk to, if she wants one. What she is going through is a personal journey, but I thought this would be a nice reminder that she has support along the way :) ~ Brooke Marley
Thanks for the email reminding me to post this message. I liked the page on FB too :) ~ Brooke Marley
LOVE THAT BAG! WANNNNTTTTTTT!!
Oh man, how lame is it I can't think of a very good act of kindness I did today? I definitely held the door open for someone at lunch, but I feel like that's slightly lame. I wish I had something better but that's what I've got for you! haha
Tonight I will be entertaining my nieces while my husband and his siblings sort through their mom's stuff. It's going to be a sad time for them, so I'm glad I can at least keep the kids out of the way!
I'm also a fan on Facebook!
And I tweeted! (@HeySmalls)
Ohhh, love this giveaway! Today I helped my boyfriend clean the house and even dusted! (I hate dusting.) :)

What an awesome give away!! How kind and generous of you!!!
Entry #1: My act of kindness was covering a conference call for a co-worker that is out sick today.
Entry #2: I like you on facebook. :)
That bag is AWESOME- wish I saw it at Target yesterday because I would probably already have it, which is I guess why I avoid the bag section ha.
I am working on a cheer up package at the moment- it won't be sent today but hopefully working on it counts :)
What a sweet giveaway! :) My act of kindness: being nicer on the road. I have been trying to be kinder while driving (I can be a jackass, really) and letting people over when they need to and not getting worked up over silly road rage issues.
I had to wait until the end of the day to comment because I couldn't think of anything this morning!
But, today I did two nice things. 1. I let a guy over on the freeway during rush hour (Iowans are too nice!) and 2. I took my cart all the way back into costco instead of leaving it at the corral because it was raining.
Great giveaway! I hope I win! Hehe ;)
I tweeted! IowaAmber (as if you didn't know....)
And of course I like you on Facebook!
I found a scholarship for a free nature day camp for a little boy in my class whose mom couldn't afford it. ;)
I am also a fan on facebook.
Hi Becky! I took my mother in law and sister in law out for lunch.
i also am a fan on facebook!
Two things: Today, two strangers gave me really great compliments, so I decided to come up with a genuine compliment to give to a stranger, too, to pay it forward. I told my barista how much I loved her tattoo shortly thereafter. In the same coffeeshop, I saw a teenage girl's cardigan slide off the back of her chair where it seemed like someone might step on it; instead of trying to catch her attention, I just got up & handed it to her. Little things, but I think sometimes the little things make a difference. :)
I like your blog's page on FB!
I like to buy the drink behind mine when I get Starbucks :)
