Happy heart

Despite building hope, it's been a bit of a rough week. I've let myself have some time to be emotional, but found myself so surrounded by love I needed to share all the things that have been making my heart happy.

*The new Starbucks refreshers - I've only tried the orange one, but oh my gosh it's delicious! Hello new favorite summer drink!

*This hilarious bag I bought from my favorite yarn store. I crack up every time I look at it.
*Prenatal vitamins make painting my nails so much more fun. My nails are growing like crazy, which makes throwing a color on them even more rewarding!

*Visits from friends. Lisa was here over the 4th of July and it was fabulous! She posted a great recap on her blog, but suffice it to say it was a good mix of doing and resting, of laughing and crying, and everything in between.

*A good trip to the library. When the summer reading program is in full swing and I overhear kids getting excited about books, it does my heart so much good. (Plus, I brought home a good haul myself!)
*Speaking of books...reading. Oh my gosh, I've been reading some fabulous ones lately. Reviews are forthcoming but suffice it to say I need to meet this woman. Stat.

*Trips to the local farmer's market. It's hot no matter how early I start, but I always have great company and uh...just yum! I'm not a fan of summer weather but I am of summer produce!

How's your week been so far? What's made your heart happy lately?

I read the Bloom book that is in your stack. It is excellent!

Holy smokes - that is a serious stack of books! How fun! I finally got a library card here last month and it has been so nice to have access to the library once again.

I am glad you've had some good moments to offset some of the emotions you are dealing with right now. And I am glad I go to be part of that list! I thinking of you!!

That bag is HILARIOUS. I seriously love it!

It was nice to briefly see your face last night. Looking forward to a bigger catch up on Friday :)

Curious about the Molly Ringwald book. Let me know how it is? I'm currently reading the Ivy Series; it's totally a bit of Gilmore Girls mixed in with Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill or something. I'm obsessed. It's funny and silly and I think you'd enjoy it, too =)

I don't read that many books in a year ... let alone check out that many books from the library at a time! Impressive.

I hate humidity - ugh, no fun.

But, that bag just might make up for having to trek out in the heat. Hilarious!

The berry refresher from Starbucks is good, too!

And I need a bag like that, but sub out "balls" for "books" ;)

I LOVE Starbucks Refreshers (from the baristas, not in a can - those ones are gross). I get the berry hibiscus one pretty regularly. They're delicious & summery & caffeinated. WIN.
