Tuesday, I wish you were Friday

Anyone else feel like this month is passing them by? I am trying my best to enjoy the holiday season but I feel like I am always behind on something. So let's play catch up today!

*I am prepping a post for tomorrow - it's my request day for the 12 Days of Love Letter Writing. It shall be awesome - but I'll need your help to write some letters!

*I am a little bit obsessed with apple cider. I know, this is supposed to be a fall thing, right? It's nothing fancy - a packet from a box, some hot water, but...ahhh. Delight.

*I can't believe Christmas is a week from tomorrow. It's not so much that I need to finish shopping (although I do still have a few gifts left to get), but more that it's coming so quickly! Any month that starts over a weekend (like December did), makes it seem faster and with Christmas and New Year's in the middle of the weeks this year it's just...crazy!

*I'm hoping to start doing some wrap up posts soon - my intentions, my theme for the year, and a little brag about how many books I read. We'll see if I can get my act together before 2014 hits.

*I've been a knitting machine lately - I've finished countless scarves and after a couple more I have some other projects to take on for some expecting friends - I can't wait to get started!

*I've been re-watching season of Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. Some of the episodes are good, but oh my gosh I forgot how whiny Meredith Grey is - it reminded me why I stopped watching the show years ago, and is also making me lose a little respect for Ellen Pompeo. (So whiny! So emo! So unhealthily skinny! Ugh!)

That's what's going on in my world- what's happening in yours?

Happy Tuesday!

I LOL'ed at the Grey's thing. She is whiny and annoying! I stopped watching the show about three years ago because I was pretty annoyed with her character.

Right now I wish I were on holiday... I have a busy day of appointments, then MLL tonight at my church, and tomorrow I'm baking up a storm in the kitchen for D's cookie exchange + a "north pole" breakfast at work. (I started it last year and wouldn't you know people asked if I would do it this year... and I can't say no, so....!) I'm ready for Friday.

Why can't we all just be on vacation from Thanksgiving through New Years?

I also got annoyed with Grey's and stopped watching- it's shocking to me that show is still on/has lasted SO long! crazy.

I also feel like this month is going fast but I need it to because I so need a vacation! haha. It sounds like you have been super productive though with all your knitting and reading :)

This month is flying by, but the weeks seems to drag at times. The last 2 weeks, it felt like it should be one day later in the week than it is. Like today feels like it should be Wednesday. I am so ready for Friday as that is when I fly home!

I am feeling pretty overwhelmed these days because I have been traveling so much, some of which is for fun, some of which is for work. I keep saying yes to things when I really should be clearing my schedule until after Christmas as I have a lot to do between now and when i fly home... But I guess being really busy is a good thing as it does make my trip home come faster!

I am still shocked Grey's Anatomy has been on for as long as it has. I think I stopped watching after season 3 or 4. I was just OVER Meredith. And then it got all drama-drama off-screen.

In my world... work, work, and then some more work. It's been overwhelmingly busy and making me a tad bit crazy. I don't do well when life is as busy as it has been right now. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Off work before noon, napping by one. That sounds like a good plan to me! :)
