What's in your mug?

My plan was to have this up yesterday (to start your Monday off right), so we'll just pretend it's Monday, okay? Okay.

I've got some coffee with French Vanilla in my mug! I hope I win this because the last mug I won from you that said "life is full of unexpected beauty" got STOLEN at work (another reason to hate on Charlotte). The way I try to chase off a case of Mondays is get outside for a run or some other form of exercise. Mondays are tough for me because it's also my injection/methotrexate day so it's this weekly reminder that while I feel better, my life will never be the 'normal' life I lived before so I usually reward myself for getting through the injection with macarons. :)

My cure for the Mondays- yoga after work! It helps get me through the day knowing I have that bright spot after work so even the worse Monday is better because of it :) I also try to pack a kick arse lunch so that I know I have something to look forward to in the middle of the day.
This mug is the actual best. And I follow you on the twitter and the book of face!

I have seen that mug before and LOVE IT! In my mug is coffee (the stronger the better) with one tablespoon of half-and-half cream. Yummy! I always allow myself to sleep in on Monday's (aka I don't workout on Monday mornings) and that always makes my week start off better because I'm well rested!

My cure for Monday Blues: sing the crap out of 5 to 10 songs you love to belt out! Endorphins will flow and you'll get pumped and excited for no reason at all. You'll smile and feel like you expressed yourself, releasing all the blah feelings Mondays can induce. Best done on the drive to work so you can be sure to roundhouse kick Monday in the face before it's even 10am!

Ah, the Monday blues. I try to do something special! Maybe get takeout for dinner, or take a long bath after work, or let myself sleep in. Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference!

I usually rely on treats (chocolate croissant, iced tea, coffee) as pick-me-ups - though a good playlist helps, too! Yoga or a brisk walk can help my mood readjust, as well. I should probably do that now, actually...
