Looking Forward

Today I'm borrowing this idea from Lisa - I always love when she does these types of posts so I thought I'd try my hand at it!

Today I'm looking forward to coming home and knitting. I've been knitting up a storm lately, and it's such a great way for me to unwind at the end of the day.
Yesterday's agenda: knitting and Harry Potter
This weekend I'm looking forward to hanging out with some friends I haven't seen in awhile. I feel like I have no time on weeknights by the time I get home, make dinner, etc. so I can't wait to just sit and catch up!

This month I'm looking forward to our anniversary. Okay, so it's technically still September and our anniversary is in October, but considering it's only a week away I'm counting it! I can't believe Ben and I will have been married for seven years, together for ten - woah!

This year I'm looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving. We typically split the holiday and go to both families' houses, but since we finally have the space we are hosting everyone this year. I'm sure it will be a lot of work but I can't wait!

What are you looking forward to today, this weekend, this month, or this year?

aw that'll be so fun to host everyone for Thanksgiving. I dream of doing that one day, but for now, too big of a family and too little of an apartment, ha.

And hurray knitting, love it.

I'm looking forward to baking this week and sitting down to focus. I feel like I've been so scatter brained lately that I really need to get myself in check and that's what I plan to do this week.

I hosted Thanksgiving one year (with my mom). It's so much work, but so much fun! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so I loved doing it. :) I hope it all goes well.

Today, I'm looking forward to an early bedtime (sooo exciting). This week, I'm looking forward to happy hour with coworkers and seeing the Gone Girl movie with a friend. This month, I'm looking forward to seeing an old friend and more games of laser tag (ha, my book club is addicted now!). And this year, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving, my birthday, and a weekend trip away. :)

I love the idea of hosting Thanksgiving. I have no idea what I'll do for it this year; my family hasn't spent the holiday together since my grandma died three years ago. It bums me out. Hoping to find a new tradition soon!

That is SO fun you are hosting everyone for Thanksgiving this year! I love it! Today I'm looking forward to a yoga class with my mom tonight. This week I'm looking forward to going to the Brad Paisley concert with Eric and visiting my friend Jen and her baby girl again, this month I'm looking forward to my coworkers wedding and this year I'm looking forward to having some time off at Christmas and using it to have a bit of a staycation this year!

Oooh, I love posts like this as it's always fun to see the exciting things, both big and small, that others are looking forward to. That is so exciting that you are hosting Thanksgiving! I know it will be alot of work but it's fun to host and not have to leave your home. I hosted Easter once and then hosted a big meal the day after Thanksgiving one year and love hosting. People seem to bring things to share so that helps as a host and my mom helped out big time when I hosted Easter.

Today I am looking forward to seeing my college friend that is flying in from Austin, this weekend I am looking forward to lots of girl time and then spending the day with Phil on Sunday (I miss him, I've been gone so much lately that we haven't gotten nearly enough time together) and this fall I am looking forward to Julia Child Night and our trip to Jamaica!
