Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm Becky, a twenty-something redhead living for the everyday moments. I'm wife to an amazing artist I've known since first grade and together we share happiness, laughter, and a mutual love of Chinese food. 

I'm a lover of all things related to books, yoga, and nail polish. Former English major who would've dated Shakespeare and partied with Fitzgerald. (Zelda who?) A lifetime of Girl Scouts has taught me how to pee in the woods "be prepared," so if we're ever out and you need a paperclip, band-aid, lotion, gum, hair tie, lip balm, or a kitchen sink, I'm your girl.

We live in Northern Virginia which means I talk really fast and I tell you how to get somewhere based on traffic, not distance. (I have no idea how many miles away the closest Target is, but I can tell you if you hit all green lights it should only take about seven minutes).

The story I'm telling cannot be defined in black and white. After a lifetime of lists deadlines, and goals, I've learned to embrace the grey - to be okay with not knowing where I'm going. To accept not being hit with a lightning bolt idea of what I should be doing with my life.

But I'm genuine. Sometimes I snort when I laugh. I always steal the covers. I'm not that great in the kitchen but I'm having an adventure learning to be better. Nothing is more fun to me than a bad movie and a bottle of nail polish...except maybe a good book.

I'm still figuring it all out. I promise to share the good and the bad - and of course the little moments in between.
